In My Mailbox (3)

IMM is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren, which is used to interact with other bloggers about their upcoming reads.

This week is testing week at my school. This could be looked at in two ways: 1)I won't have time to read any books because of studying or 2)I will have a lot of time to read if I can read after I finish the test. Let's hope for the latter! ;)

Here is what I have this week:

This is a little book I found at the library. It's about two girls who cope with their best friend's rape & murder. It's fairly short, but it sounds interesting.

I don't think I am emotionally ready to read this. I don't want the series to end! But sooner or later I'll have to say bye to Katniss, Prim, Gale, Peeta, & the rest.

If I have time, I might read Anna Dressed in Blood. I'm really excited, and kinda nervous, to read this!

Thanks for tuning in.

  1. I've never heard of Lark before.

I knew how Mockingjay ended before I even decided to read this series. I guess because of that I've put off reading this book as well. Secretly I am hoping the movie version changes things up.

  2. Mockingjay! Be prepared. It goes quickly and you're still blown away at the end. Personally, the second book was my favorite. And Anna Dressed in Blood is an awesome book!

  4. Hmmm, I would jump in and enjoy Mockingjay... I read one right after the other b/c I was so entranced with the series! You can always read it over, ya know :D If I ever get my books back from my friends, I plan on doing that!!! And I think you'll like Anna, she's still on my TBR but blogs I rely on have all loved it. I guess she wrote a male protagonist really well. Hey, and the next one is coming soon ;)

Thanks for visiting me & following.. I'm following back! Oooo, and get an RSS feed and twitter so I can follow you there (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

    1. Thanks so much for the comment! I'm excited to read these books now. :) I hate it when my friends don't give back my books lol. One time a girl I barely knew borrowed my book and 4 months later returned it all beat up. I was sad. And I love Anna #2's cover! It's beautiful.

I actually switched blogs -- this blog name didn't suit very well for my intentions of it -- you can find me at The Bookish Poodle now. :) I also made an RSS feed and a twitter @BookishPoodle. Follow me and I'll follow you! :) Thanks so much!
